Watercolor Workshop

Instructor Forrest (Woody) Amidon is back with his popular watercolor workshop. 

Have you ever felt like something was missing in your life?
Have you always thought it would be fun to paint, but didn't know how to start?
If so, the Beginners Watercolor workshop may be just what you are looking for. Come and make art with others and explore your creative side!

Bring photos to paint, a backing board (larger than 9x12") and listed supplies if you already have them. Materials included in the class price are a $48 value. All individual supplies can be purchased at Craft Paper Scissors.

This class will meet 4 days, from 10:00am-3:30pm with a break for lunch.

A 10% discount will be offered on all additional class-related supplies for you to continue with watercolors at home.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details:
Requirements: Cotman watercolor set, Watercolor paper pad, sketchbook, drawing pencil and eraser.
Instructor: Woody Amidon
Instructor Bio: Mr. Amidon has lots of experience conducting workshops and classes for the LCAL, Kirkmont and LoCo Arts. Woody has studied art and watercolors at Springfield Museum of Art, Columbus Cultural Arts Commission, and the Kanuga Water Media Workshops in Hendersonville, North Carolina.

About Us

Each month we will have several projects that you can make right in our studio. Projects range from cards, scrapbook pages and mini albums to stenciled wall art, string or button art and other home décor. 

Favorite children's crafts are string art, glass bowl painting and painting on canvas.
